To enroll in this course, you must have completed the NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting Course.
Course Overview: This 16-hour course (24 hours including NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting and Basic Instructor Training) combines classroom instruction with hands-on range experience. You will learn how to safely handle and shoot both revolvers and semi-automatic pistols, preparing you to teach these skills to others.

Pistol Parts and Operation: Understanding the components and mechanics of pistols.
Ammunition Knowledge: Selecting the right ammunition for different scenarios.

Training Completion: Successfully finish the NRA Instructor Training Course and receive an endorsement from the NRA Training Counselor.
Certification Information: NRA certification requires an additional fee: $35 for NRA members or $60 for non-members. Join NRA to become a member.
